Appointments

Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. We are open for scheduled appointments from:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00am-11:30pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm
• Saturday: 8:45am - 2:00pm
• Please call in advance to schedule surgeries

Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments.

Grooming

Our hospital is equiped at your convenince with 3 experienced groomers, ready to pamper your four legged companion, 6 days a week. Your pet can be dropped off as early as 7:00 a.m. and picked up as late as 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 3pm on Saturdays. Your pet will be kept in a safe, friendly atmosphere and never exposed to unvaccinated animals. To ensure your pet's safety, we require all pets to be vaccinated. Because this grooming service is a part of our veterinary hospital, you can rest assured that, should any medical problem arise while your pet is with us, he or she will have immediate access to professional veterinary staff. One of the major benefits of regular grooming at a veterinary hospital is that we become familiar with your pet allowing us to quickly recognize problems with his or her health that can be discussed with the veterinarian.

 Every grooming includes bath, haircut if needed, and nail trim. We will pluck your dog's ears and clean them. If your dog has a problem with his ears or anal glands, you can request an exam by the veterinarian. Grooming by appointment only.

We realize here at Beltway Animal Hospital that leaving your pet behind is a hard thing to do and it can be stressful not only for the family but for the animal as well.

    To make your pet’s stay with us extra-special, we give them lots of TLC while in our care.

While in our care, we make sure to monitor:

~ eating habbits

~ weight loss

~ parasites

~ fleas or ticks (treated at owners expense)

Should any medical emergency arise while your pet is with us, he or she will have immediate access to professional veterinary staff.
